SEK To Trial Different Engine Types
Starting from our Round 5 event at the Wollongong Kart Raceway, the Sportsman Enduro Karting Championship will be trialling the introduction of both a Single Engined Class as well as accepting twin Briggs and Stratton kart setups.
Traditionally, SEK has only been open to those who drive a Twin Honda Engined Kart, and with the 24 Hours Of Eastern Creek event approaching, it was decided that the introduction of both Twin Briggs and Strattons and Single Engines would open up the event to more karters. The SEK Committee have recognised that one of Kartings biggest challenges should be made available to as many people as possible, and whilst opening up the 24 Hour Race, it was also decided to open up the 7 Hours Of Wollongong event as well.
So if you have a sealed 4 stroke single engined Kart or a Twin Briggs and Stratton setup, now is your chance to experience what the Sportsman Enduro Karting Championship is all about. So contact us at sportsmanendurokarting@gmail.com to see if your kart has an approved sealed engine, to get your entry forms and supplementary regulations or to ask us any questions you might have.
