SEKNSW Round 2 ready to take off!
SEK NSW heads north to Newcastle Kart Racing Club on Saturday 23rd March for round 2 of the SEKNSW championship proudly supported by CargoSafe.
With the ever intense Eastern Creek night race behind us, we head to Newcastle for one of our shorter races of the year, a single 6 hour race.
With a new round brings 3 new teams to try SEK endurance karting and enthusiasm is high as we head toward one of our biggest rounds of the year in early May. Add to the that a number of new teams joining SEK QLD and the series is well on its way to building numbers for the 2019 season.
Fresh off their first ever win at round 1, the Legends look to go back to back but will be eagerly followed by the CargoSafe team looking to win the round they sponsor.
TWR will also be looking to move through the field to take their maiden win and they showed great improvement since the back end of the 2018 season.
CJ Racing look to come back stronger after a break in late 2018 and could well move back onto the podium with a freshly prepped kart.
The Sportsman class is just as hot with Gardiner Racing and Karting Solutions fighting at the front. The podium is wide open for Sportsman with CIA Racing 65 unable to make this round and a simple mechanical issue for the front runners could see a fresh 3 teams stand on the podium.
All will unfold in 7 days!
